A Town Council must make its decisions at a meeting, so all items that the council wishes to consider have to be discussed at either the full council or one of the delegated committees. In law, the agenda has to be displayed three clear days before the meeting and only items listed on the agenda can be decided on.

Climate, Nature and Environment Committee monitors environmental issues, risk assessment and manages the allotment sites

Planning and Development (Advisory) Committee comments on planning applications and monitors development in the wards.

HR Sub Committee oversee the appraisals of the clerk, reporting to F&GP Committee

The council can set up 'task and finish' groups to research matters. These 'working groups' cannot have any decision making powers but can carry some of the workload of the council.

Climate and Nature Emergency Panel responsible for researching the climate priorities for the council reporting to the CNE Committee - Cllrs Izzard; Taylor-Gee; Wray
Beach and Sea Working Group responsible for researching issues affecting the quality of the sea and beach in Bexhill and accessibility to the beach reporting to the CNE Committee - Cllrs Plim; Carroll; Taylor-Gee; Brailsford.
Accessibility Working Group responsible for researching accessibility issues in Bexhill reporting to the CNE Committee - Cllrs Plim; Izzard; Thomas; Baldry
